Dr. Robert Forto, PhD, is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced experts in the evaluation, investigation and litigation of cases due to canine aggression and pet related injuries in the State of Colorado. He is also a specialist in third party landlord/tenant disputes. Although an expert in evaluating dogs of all breeds, Dr. Forto has a special interest in cases involving Rottweilers and "Pit Bulls". He has spoke to City Governments on banned breed legislation and violent dogs.

Dr. Forto is a Certified Animal Evaluator with nearly 18 years experience as a canine behavior consultant. He has given testimony in deposition many times and has been qualified as an expert in dog aggression, dog training, dog behavior, wound evaluation, human/canine interaction, proper handling of dogs by owners and animal care agencies and animal abuse as well as attack dynamics... including whether or not provocation was involved.
